Our ancestors have walked the Earth barefoot in the past, when there were no shoes or something that could protect our feet. Today, only people that live out in the country perform this practice, walking barefoot in their yards and gardens. This is good for our feet and body because the body needs the sense of natural touch that cannot be achieved while wearing shoes.

Walking barefoot stimulates the major organs in the body as our feet have certain points that are connected to them.

The “Chi” concept is popular in eastern philosophies and medicine. The Chinese call the vital energy “chi”, while the Indians call it “Prana”. They have a belief that stimulating certain points on the body will cure diseases and improve our overall health and energy flow. This energy flow goes through a meridian system, similar to the blood flow in the bloodstream. When the energy flows properly the body is recharged.
